Swampedbycars A group of residents on the south side of Loughborough have formed themselves into an alliance called "Swampedbycars" and have submitted a document setting out their demands to Charnwood Borough Council that can be read at http://tiny.cc/bxgEB.

Loughborough South West Action Group (SWAG) is campaigning to prevent the building of 3000 homes on the land leading up to the Outwoods.

Garendon Park & Countrysid Protection Group continues to fight to stave off the development of the green wedge between Shepshed, Hathern and Loughborough. Route 6 of the National Cycleway runs across this land and it would be swallowed up if development takes place.
